Our Vision is to continuously move...
FROM apathy, TO love
FROM me & mine, TO we & ours
FROM independent, TO interdependent
FROM competitiveness, TO collaboration
FROM separation, TO unification
FROM judgement, TO acceptance
FROM spiritual lack TO supernatural overflow
FROM congregation-focus, TO kingdom-focus
FROM performing, TO ministry
FROM aversion, TO immersion
FROM attracting a crowd, TO seeking the lost
FROM deficit, TO surplus

HISTORY
Reverend J. W. Dudley, a Pastor in Manhattan, began sending an associate minister to Arverne, NY, for weekly prayer meetings at the request of Sister Martha Jones in the early 20th century. As this group of individuals began to grow into a congregation, Mount Carmel was organized on May 18, 1912.
